Caregiver Training: Body Mechanics & Safe Transfers
Proper body mechanics and transfer techniques are essential for both caregiver safety and client well-being. I offer hands-on training designed to reduce injuries, improve mobility assistance, and enhance overall confidence in providing care.
Whether you run a foster care home or manage a larger organization, this class equips caregivers with the skills needed for safe transfers, core stabilization, and injury prevention. Education ensures both staff and clients remain safe, preventing accidents before they happen.
Each session is interactive and engaging, allowing caregivers to practice techniques firsthand. By improving their strength, stability, and positioning, they’ll gain the tools needed to assist clients with greater ease and confidence.
Caregiver Training FAQs
- Can my staff get CEU’s for participating in the class?
Yes, the average class lasts 1.5/2.0 hours depending on class size.
- Is there an optimal class size?
A minimum of 2 people and a maximum of 16. If you have more than 16 caregivers on staff, I recommend having 2 separate classes so that everyone gets adequate time to participate, practice techniques and have their questions answered.

Yes, a weekend class is fine.
